Aitor Throup is an artist, designer and creative director.
Throup's multi-disciplinary design house ‘A.T. Studio’ collaborates across multiple industries and develops the conceptual clothing brand ‘New Object Research’. Both the studio and the brand are committed to imagining and creating new ways of storytelling through an anatomical approach to object design and the production of related materials.

Jun Kitada

Jun began his career at an ad agency Ad Dentsu Tokyo in 1991 before moving to Chuo Koronsha, where he was in charge of advertising of GQ JAPAN and Marie Claire Japan. In 1997, he joined Condé Nast Publications Japan serving as an Advertising & Marketing Manager and Executive Vice president of VOGUE JAPAN and GQ JAPAN. He was assigned President and Publisher in 2010.

Peter Fitzgerald is Managing Director at Google Japan where he oversees every aspect of Google Japan’s business. Before this, he was Country Sales Director for Google UK/EIRE, the biggest market for Google
outside the US. Peter joined Google in 2007.

Masahiro Uemaru

Merchandising North Asia Lead, Levi Strauss

Masahiro studied at KwanSei Gakuin University and Fashion Institute of Technology. He lived in NYC from 1990 to 2005, working for apparel companies as a Designer and Merchandiser. Masahiro then became Brand Manager at Quiksilver Japan and went on to become the Merchandising Manager at Nike Japan. He joined Levis Strauss in 2011 as Merchandising lead.

Genevieve Kunst

Managing Director, ShopStyle Europe

As the Managing Director of POPSUGAR Europe, Genevieve is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and growth of the ShopStyle and POPSUGAR businesses in Europe. Genevieve has spent more than 16 years working across Europe in the e-commerce and mobile industries.

Kei Wakabayashi

Editor-in-Chief, WIRED JAPAN

Born in 1971 in Japan and raised in London and New York, Kei started his career as an editor at Gekkan Taiyo. In 2000, he became freelance and started writing and editing at various publications suich as Esquire Japan, BRUTUS and GQ JAPAN. He also served as a consultant for music labels. He has been Editor-in-Chief of WIRED JAPAN and its online since 2012.

Mitsuko Watanabe

Editor-in-Chief, VOGUE JAPAN

After graduating from college, Mitsuko began her editorial career at Hanatsubaki published by Shiseido. After working at Figaro Japon and ELLE Japon as an Editor, she was assigned as a Fashion Features Director at VOGUE JAPAN in 2001. She has been Editor-in-Chief of VOGUE JAPAN since 2008, and also leads VOGUE JAPAN Online as the Editor-in-Chief.

Masafumi Suzuki

Editor-in-Chief, GQ JAPAN

Masafumi started his career at a commercial film production company, before he became a reporter at an english newspaper. He contributed to the launch of NAVI as Editor-in-Chief and led it’s phenomenal success for ten years. He also found and led a men’s lifestyle magazine ENGINE in 2000 until he was appointed as Editor-in-Chief of GQ JAPAN in November 2011.

Kaie Murakami

CEO & Creative Director, SIMONE INC., SIMONE INC.

After working as a designer for clothes and graphics at Issey Miyake, Kaie launched SIMONE INC. in 2003 providing a highly advanced branding strategies with a mastery of digital media. He also launched Hong-Kong based THE ESSENTIALS in 2011. His clients vary from LOUIS VUITTON, UNDER COVER, SHISEIDO, MITSUKOSHI ISETAN, LEXUS among others.

Steve Callanan

CEO, WireWax

Once the youngest TV producer in the UK, Steve established his first production company in 2001 and was producing over 400 hours of branded content for the four biggest UK lifestyle publishers. During this time, he proposed that online video content should be as 'connected' as the rest of the web; linking pixels to people, products and information was the goal. He engineered WIREWAX, the world's first shoppable video tool.

Amanda Parkes

Dr. Amanda Parkes is a fashion technologist with over 10 years of experience in wearable technology, interaction design, smart materials and fashion innovation. She is the Chief of Technology and Research at Manufacture NY, leading a hybrid research facility focused on, wearable electronics, digital fabrication and biomaterials.

Jon Stine

Jon Stine heads global sales and sales strategy for the enterprise Retail, Hospitality, and Consumer Goods industry sectors for the Intel Corporation.

Jon is a 30-plus year veteran of the retail industry, and offers a perspective borne of both executive experience in the retail industry and global leadership in technology sales and consulting to retailers.

Tatsuya Kitagawa

Tatsuya started his career at a NGO in New York. Back in Japan, he joined Scholar Consulting which specialises in innovating organizational environments before moving to Quantum Leaps. As one of the founding memembers of Alex, he contributed to the launch of Made in Japan/ Made by Japanese concept EC. He now leads digital innovation and strategy at Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings.

Georgina Harding

Co-Founder, Semaine

Georgina is the co-founder of Semaine.com, a new online lifestyle destination centred around global personalities. Georgina previously worked at Mario Testino’s agency Higher + Higher, where she specialised in strategy and branding. She spearheaded Testino’s trend forecasting division.

Kirsty Emery is co-founder of Unmade, the London-based tech company that's reinventing the fashion industry. Unmade have built the technology to produce unique knitwear on an industrial scale, and having proven their concept via award-winning website, Unmade.com, they are now partnering with global brands to take their innovations to the wider industry.

Katie Baron

Formerly a fashion producer, Katie Baron is an author, journalist, trends forecaster and creative content consultant with extensive experience within the retail, fashion and design industries. She is currently the Head of Retail for Stylus – a leading global research and advisory firm providing strategic brand innovation insights to businesses within the creative industries.

Mariko Nishimura

CEO and Producer, Heart Catch Co., Ltd.

Graduated from the International Christian University, Mariko started her career as an engineer. She then trained herself as a field marketing manager at a global company and as a producer at a digital creative agency, before launching her own company Heat Catch. With her cposs discipilinery expertise in tech, design and marketing, she contributes to various projects as a producer, editor and mentor for start-ups.

Gomi Hayakawa

CEO, Designer and Producer, Utsuwa Inc.

Born in 1995, Tokyo. Gomi is a junior at Graphic Design Department at Tama Art University. After entering at the college, she launched her clothing line Gomi Hayakawa followed by the phenomenal lingerie brand feast in 2015. Gomi now sells her products at her online-shop as well as at pop-up stores in renowned retailers such as La Foret Harajuku.
